WEBFORM - MEDIA VISIT REQUEST

Thank you for your interest in collaborating with Banff & Lake Louise Tourism.

Our primary objective is to work with media who can offer travel-focused coverage of Banff and Lake Louise. Our focus is raising awareness of winter (November through April). Our team can assist with information requests, interviews and itinerary development. Each request is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

We will consider supporting media visit requests which:

Reflect a confirmed assignment/commitment to publish
Promote Banff and Lake Louise as a travel destination in print, online, in a podcast, or in broadcast or streaming media
Represent more than one travel/hospitality industry partner
Provide editorial coverage in our key geographic markets (Canada, US, UK, Australia and Germany)
Represent a publication with a minimum circulation/reach/UMV of 10,000
Highlight our main content pillars:
- Soft Adventure
- Culinary
- Wellness
- Sustainability
- Events
Provide a minimum of three weeks' notice

Blackout Periods

Due to high demand periods, we’re not able to accommodate visits at certain times of year. Specific dates are listed below, however additional dates may be added due to business levels. Current blackout periods are:

December 20 through January 4 annually
Statutory & Holiday Periods

Priority is given to winter visits. Please note there is limited support we can provide for hosted visits between mid-May and mid-October.
